Merry Christmas
My ultimate present every year is that I have Elizabeth in my life. She is my pride and joy. A little angel filled with so much spirit. She makes me laugh every day. It's such a blessing.

Trick or Treat
I decided to make a costume this year for Elizabeth (with the help of a friend). She loved wearing it and I enjoyed making it. I didn't think I could do it but by golly I kept at it and she became little miss Ariel. Trick or Treating was a blast!!
Peter's Celebration of Life
Peter put together an awesome night I won't forget anytime soon on, November 19 to celebrate with anyone who has overcome adversity in their life and just celebrate the good things we all have. The band, "Mr. Chubb" rocked the house and made the night extra special for Peter and me. Peter struggles everyday with his disability but he never let's it get him down. He always has a smile on his face. He can work a 10 hour day, be exhausted, aching and he will still smile, hug Elizabeth and me and tell us how lucky he is.

Serenity
Well I've finally had the time to use some of my creativity and free time by making a shadow box. My mom is my inspiration. I was able to go to CT this past weekend to visit my family by myself and had a blast. I packed my car (which included my almost completed project) and with a BIG smile drove to my parents. I was psyched to see them and my siblings without my husband and daughter. I rarely get the chance to do whatever I want with them without having to think of my own family and when I do it's awesome! Anyway, I was able to complete my project plus make a new one with my mom. I came home with a car full of craft goodies from my mom's workshop and day of travels. It will take at least 2 weeks to organize but well worth it!!

About Me
- SunSpirit
- I married at 25 and moved about with my husband for employment. My husband, Peter is quadriplegic. I never really thought we would have problems having children but after awhile we realized we would need some manual intervention. Finally in April 2007 we were blessed with our beautiful daughter Elizabeth. Peter had a major bed sore that started in 2009 and landed him in the hospital in 2010. He had major flap surgery and spent more than 9 months in bed. He is finally looking more himself. The situation was pretty tough on the family and of course Elizabeth. We are finally feeling more like ourselves and enjoying summer in our new home closer to family and friends.
